Employers use the thread of replacing employees who are trade union members with temporary works or “scab workers”. They use this thread to prevent unions from forming, to weaken existing unions, to apply pressure on existing unions during negotiations and etc. ii. Inducements_ employers use several forms of inducement of union member to weaken the union bargaining power or to compromise the union leadership.
